I also recommend trying to hit 99 on the dual vipers or vulcan canon. The three "musts" are the anti-matter rifle, the leviathan flail, and the silencer. While you only need to push one weapon to 99, I have three or four recommendations. Now, after beating the final boss, do the last stretch of the set in Exterminator (obviously). This also doubles as your opportunity to squeeze out a little extra XP for your guns, which you'll definitely want to do before starting NG+, since enemies outclass pre-Mega weapons FAST in NG+. This shouldn't take long at all, maybe two afternoons and a walkthrough. You'll also want to decide which one or two weapons warrant the 99 grind, since you probably won't see all 99's with this set, even if the grind admittedly isn't that hard.īefore defeating the final boss, I recommend re-loading on Couch Potato (one star) to go back and finish up skill points.
